Midnight Mayday
At 12:17 a.m., cruise ship broadcaster Sawyer Jenkins hears a broken cry for help through her headphones. Beneath the glittering decks of the Ocean Star, she discovers seven undocumented migrants locked below deck, including a terrified girl named Lia. When Sawyer’s own uncle, Captain Victor, orders her to stay silent, she risks her career and turns the ship’s broadcast system into a weapon of truth. Her decision exposes a corporate cover-up, saves lives, and sparks a fight that follows her from the ship to courtrooms, ports, and an international rescue network. Years later, Lia, once too afraid to speak, steps behind the microphone herself. What began as one forbidden broadcast becomes a legacy: every hidden voice deserves to be heard.
